Taking home Pinnacle/Excelsior Grade2

To Install The Pinnacle Gradebook Companion on your home computer (or a "stand alone" computer), do one of the following:

1) If you have internet access at home, then from your home computer, return to this page and click appropriate link below. When the dialog box pops up, choose "Run this program from its current location." Follow the instructions and prompts (seen below) to install the Gradebook Companion.

2) If you do not have internet access at home, you can make a companion install disk by choosing SAVE and copying the file to a floppy disk. Then on the home computer, run the file that you copied....and follow the directions it provides you (seen below).

These instructions will install the "home version" on your computer at home. You will also need to go through the "Check Out Classes" procedures with a clean BLANK disk to copy your class files for use at home. DO NOT PUT ANY OTHER FILES on that diskette with your Grade2 class files. From inside Gradebook (don't have to have a class open - doesn't matter if you do) click on the Pinnacle Menu item, and choose Check Out All to copy your classes to the diskette. When you return to your networked (school) computer select Check In All from the Pinnacle menu.

NOTE: Whenever there is an upgrade done for the Pinnacle Program I will let you know, and you will need to run a fresh install of the "Companion."
