Access to School Meals During Virtual Instruction

Although we are starting the school year virtually, we want to remind our families that your students still have access to nutritious, school meals. In accordance with our Reopening Plan, we are working with SLA Management, our school meal provider, to prepare and distribute take-home meals for students.

The incredible chefs from SLA Management will offer curbside breakfast and lunch services on the A.D. Henderson & FAU High School campus to any student who requests meals.  In order to take advantage of these meal services, all families must register for an account via the  SLA Lunch websiteOnce your SLA Lunch account is created, you can replenish the account via  our school payment site:

Set up a meal account to buy breakfast and lunch with an initial deposit. You may add to your account at any time.

Meal Prices

  • Students approved by the National School Lunch Program for free meals do not have a meal charge.
  • Students approved by the National School Lunch Program for reduced meals: 
    • Breakfast: $0.30 per day and Lunch: $0.40 per day
  • All other students meals:
    • Breakfast: $1.75 per day and Lunch: $3.25 per day

During the weeks of virtual instruction, there will be breakfast and lunch pick-up on  Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM-10:00 AM.   When you pick up meals on Monday, you will receive breakfast and lunch for Monday and Tuesday.  When you pick up meals on Wednesday, you will receive breakfast and lunch for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  Meals cannot be provided for the entire week at once, as the quality and freshness of the meals can be compromised.  

In order to be able to have the appropriate amount of meals prepared, we are kindly asking that you fill out this  form  no later than  Monday, August 10, 2020 . Additional information will be provided in the upcoming week.
