Students Who Walk onto Campus During Arrival

Wednesday, Aug 26, 2026

We know that many families choose to drop their child off in Lots 30 and 31 in the morning so their child can walk onto campus rather than proceed through the carline. We understand that this can provide a quicker drop-off option, and we are grateful to FAU Police for working with us to accommodate this process.

Please remember that parents/guardians who drop students off in Lots 30 or 31 may not walk their child across the street and onto campus unless they have a scheduled meeting on campus. Students using this arrival option must be able to safely and independently walk from the parking lot onto campus.

This expectation is important for maintaining campus safety and ensuring that our arrival and carline procedures continue to operate smoothly. If you are not comfortable with your child walking onto campus independently, please use the regular carline for morning drop-off.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us maintain a safe and efficient arrival process for all students and families.
