As we move into this groundbreaking school year, we are excited, not only about the educational experiences our students will be engaged in, but about preparing students to be good citizens in our school and community. As mentioned in your child’s Meet and Greet meeting, we will be utilizing Character Counts!, a character education framework to support student development. Monthly, you will receive information about the Pillar of the Month, teacher and student awards, and parent involvement opportunities as a way to support student learning of the six pillars at home. The attached document provides an overview of the pillars, and suggestions to reinforce the expectations from school at home.
