Friday, December 19, the last day of school before winter break, is an early release day. All kindergarten through 5th-grade students will be released at 11:45 am, and 6th-9th-grade students will be released at 12:00 pm. There is no aftercare, and all afterschool activities are canceled on December 19.
To capture some of the excitement of the holidays, elementary and middle school students will have a "themed dress-down day" on Friday, December 19. Elementary students can wear their favorite pajamas to school, and middle school students can wear their tacky/ugly sweaters (following A.D. Henderson & FAU High School dress code). Students not participating should wear their regular school uniforms.
