K-9 Open House / Meet & Greet

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Several weeks ago, I communicated our plan for grade level Meet and Greet and Open House meetings prior to the start of the school year. Please know that the University, and our construction and school teams have been advocating and working diligently to have our new building ready to welcome our employees and families. Unfortunately, we are experiencing several supply chain issues that are plaguing projects throughout the country. We have worked through many of the issues; however, a few of the items have been delayed and are projected to arrive and be installed next week. Following installation, inspections must be completed.
Although we have been granted limited access to the building for our staff to set up their classrooms and offices, we have been advised that we are unable to bring parents and students onsite at this time. To ensure we share with you important information regarding new programs and procedures before the students return to campus, we must shift the Meet and Greet meetings to Zoom. We will reschedule our K-8 Open House face-to-face meetings onsite during the first nine weeks of school so that our families are able to visit classrooms and meet the teachers in-person. Following this announcement, there will be emails sent to parents by grade level to provide you with the dates, times and the Zoom link to attend your child’s grade level meeting(s).
I sincerely apologize for having to alter the plans for the Meet and Greets and for any inconvenience this may cause. Please know that we are anxious to show you the amazing facility and to have you meet the incredible A.D. Henderson and FAU High School team. The time is nearing and we thank you for your patience and continued support.
