School Closure, 10/09/24 & 10/10/24 - Hurricane Milton Update

A.D. Henderson University School and Florida Atlantic University High School will be closed on Wednesday, October 9, and Thursday, October 10, as Hurricane Milton continues to gain strength. Additionally, all after-school activities, sports, clubs, and athletics are canceled on Tuesday, October 8, Wednesday, October 9, and Thursday, October 10.

This closure impacts our Kindergarten through 9th-grade students only. Florida Atlantic officials are in regular contact with the appropriate local and state agencies. Families, students, and staff should monitor our communication channels, including adhus.fau.edu, fauhigh.fau.edu, fau.edu/advisory, email, and text for updates. Students in grades 10th - 12th should continue to monitor Florida Atlantic University communications for updates on university operations.

School reopening decisions will be expediently shared with parents and staff.
