Junior Thespian Theater Club

Students will have the opportunity to practice and improve their craft in Junior Thespian Club with singing, acting, or dancing. They will compete with monologues, scenes, songs, improvisation, and pantomimes at District Competition and at State Competition! They also have multiple opportunities to showcase their talents at several performances throughout the year!

Chess Club

Chess club members will engage in many exciting events such as chess instructions, in-house tournaments, coaching sessions by professional chess players, exhibitions, and state-wide tournaments.

Studio Sessions

Studio Sessions is an art focused club that teaches students to express themselves in a variety of mediums while supporting stress relief and student mental health.

Science Fair

Students will engage in scientific research to develop an original project idea. Students will prepare a science fair board and will present their projects to their peers. (Note: Is it possible to use the summary from last year?)

Biomedical

Biomedical club offers hands on activities linking medical skills with engineering skills. Members work on a variety of topics including vital science, DNA extraction, laboratory skills, nanotechnology, and medical innovation. The club is open to any 6-8 student with an interest in the medical field.

Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad is an international non-profit organization devoted to improving the quality of science education, increasing student interest in science and providing recognition for outstanding achievement in science education by both students and teachers. These goals are accomplished through club activities, research, and the encouragement of intramural, district, regional, state and national tournaments. Science Olympiad tournaments are rigorous academic interscholastic competitions that consist of a series of team events, which students prepare for during the year. These challenging and motivational events are well balanced between the various science disciplines of biology, earth science, chemistry, physics and technology. There is also a balance between events requiring knowledge of science concepts, process skills and science applications. In addition, during the day there are open house activities that consist of science and mathematics demonstrations, activities and career counseling sessions conducted by professors and scientists at the host institution occurring concurrently with the events.

Financial Literacy & Investment

Members will be learning more in depth about financial decisions, creating business ideas, joining young entrepreneur's academies, and promoting financial literacy throughout the school.

American Sign Language

Sign Language (ASL) Club will expose students to fun , multi-modal learning of a foreign language. Students will improve their interpersonal skills, learn about Deaf culture, participate in a variety of artistic culmination activities, and support deaf community events.

SECME

The purpose of SECME is to enrich student learning in science, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on learning and problem solving. Students also learn communication skills by collaborating with peers and working though challenges as a team.

First Priority

First Priority is a Christian student organization that allows students to share and embrace their faith in schools. It provides a platform for students to come together, discuss their faith, and engage in activities related to Christianity.
