THE CANE INSTITUTE MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS NAMED SECME DISTRICT CHAMPIONS - MOVE TO NATIONAL COMPETITION

At a district event, TCI middle school and high school teams earned 18 trophies and were named District Champions for both middle school and high school levels of competition.
SECME is an alliance of K-12 educators, universities, and industry/government partners committed to engaging and preparing more minorities and girls for college and careers in STEM.
The middle school rocket and mousetrap car teams and the high school mousetrap car team will represent The Cane Institute (TCI) at the Southeastern Consortium for Minorities in Engineering (SECME) National Competition.

"I am so extremely proud of The Cane Institute ADHUS and FAUHS SECME teams and their accomplishments at the Palm Beach Regional SECME Tournament," said Allan Phipps, STEM coordinator for A.D. Henderson University School. "Our students represented FAU, The Cane Institute, and our school extremely well and continue to show the world we are pursuing innovation in engineering and design."
