Florida Atlantic Laboratory Schools are thrilled to announce the 2026 Teacher of the Year and 2025 School-Related Employee of the Year, recognizing the incredible dedication and impact of our faculty and staff. These prestigious honors highlight individuals who go above and beyond to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students, families, and the school community.
2026 Teacher of the Year
Congratulations to Lindsey Wuest , the 2026 Teacher of the Year! Lindsey's innovation, passion, and commitment to fostering student success have made her a standout educator. As a leader in the classroom and a mentor to her peers, Ms. Wuest exemplifies the highest standards of teaching and has profoundly impacted the A.D. Henderson University School community.
"Intrinsic inspiration to create is the defining feature of an artist. Dancers must dance, writers must write, musicians must play and artists must draw," said Lindsey Wuest in her application. "As an artist whose heart is hopelessly tangled in teaching, I feel that unstoppable urge to create in the form of developing interdisciplinary art lessons. Teachers, like all inspired individuals, MUST teach. Those closest to me know, it is an obsession. Tap-tapping away at keyboards, scritch-scratching in sketchbooks, and scribbling rhyming lines into notebooks- when inspiration knocks, I answer."
We also commend the outstanding nominees for Teacher of the Year:
