A.D. Henderson University School and Florida Atlantic University High School proudly congratulate FAU High School junior Charly Troche on being named the 2025-2026 Outstanding School Youth Volunteer by the Florida Department of Education.

This prestigious award recognizes students across Florida who demonstrate exceptional dedication to supporting education, strengthening school communities, and making a meaningful impact through service.

Since joining FAU High School as a ninth grader, Charly has contributed more than 500 volunteer hours across academic mentoring, STEM outreach, leadership initiatives, and community service. As a Peer Mentor, he has helped students strengthen their confidence and academic success through tutoring and guidance. He has also played a key role in the school’s S.T.A.R.s Program, helping launch the archaeological dig site that now provides hands-on learning experiences for elementary and middle school students.

In addition to serving as Vice President of the Student Government Association, Charly actively participates in National Honor Society service projects, sustainability initiatives, and community events that positively impact the entire K–12 campus.

Charly’s leadership, initiative, and commitment to helping others continue to inspire students and staff alike. We are incredibly proud of this well-deserved recognition and grateful for the positive impact he makes throughout our school community.
