We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr. Lauren Robinson as the new Principal of A.D. Henderson University School and Florida Atlantic University High School.

Dr. Robinson has been an integral part of our school community since 2012, beginning her journey as a fifth-grade teacher. Over the past twelve years, she has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership, and a deep commitment to the growth and success of our students.

In her previous role as Assistant Principal, Dr. Robinson excelled in a multitude of responsibilities, including coordinating school operations, participating in new facility construction programming, overseeing afterschool clubs and student organizations, and leading efforts in recruiting talented faculty and staff. Her contributions to school and district budget forecasting, collaboration with the PTO, and her role as the K-5 educational leader further exemplify her comprehensive understanding of our school's needs and her ability to address them effectively.

Dr. Robinson’s academic background is equally impressive. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University.  She earned her Doctorate Degree with honors in Applied Learning Sciences from the University of Miami. Additionally, she holds Florida educator licenses in Educational Leadership and Level II Principal Leadership Certification.

Her extensive experience and educational credentials position her exceptionally well to lead A.D. Henderson University School and Florida Atlantic University High School into an exciting new chapter. We are confident that Dr. Robinson’s vision, expertise, and unwavering dedication will continue to drive our school toward excellence.

Over the next six months, I will remain on campus serving as superintendent and supporting Dr. Robinson’s transition into the principal role. Through the transition, she will continue to serve as the elementary Assistant Principal as we seek a replacement for the elementary Assistant Principal position. The expectation is that Dr. Robinson and the new elementary Assistant Principal will fully assume their roles by mid-year.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Robinson to her new role. We look forward to the positive impact she will undoubtedly have on our students, staff, and community.
