Rebecca Kasten to Serve as K-5 Assistant Principal for A.D. Henderson University School

With great pride, we share that Rebecca Kasten has been selected as the new Elementary Assistant Principal for A.D. Henderson University School. She will spend the next several months transitioning into this position while she retains her responsibilities as our MTSS Coordinator. Mrs. Kasten will assume all of the K-5 administrator responsibilities in February 2025.

Mrs. Kasten’s impressive academic background includes a Bachelor’s in Science and a Master’s in Education from the University of Florida, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Gulf Coast University, and a Specialist in Education Degree from Florida Atlantic University. Her ongoing commitment to education and professional growth reflects her deep passion for teaching and learning.

Since joining our community in 2016, Mrs. Kasten has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication to our students and staff. Mrs. Kasten has excelled in multiple roles, such as Third Grade Teacher and Third Grade Team Leader, and currently serves our students as the MTSS Coordinator. Her leadership has also shined through her involvement in the Lab School Drive-In Conference, her work as an LSI Model Teacher, her role as PTO Liaison, her coordination of Career Day, and her contributions to the Character Counts! Steering Committee.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Mrs. Kasten enter this new leadership position. Her experience, leadership skills, and unwavering dedication will undoubtedly have a positive impact on our entire community of students, teachers, support staff, and parents.
