2023 PALM BEACH REGIONAL SCIENCE & ENGINEERING FAIR AWARD PRESENTATION

On January 6, 2023, students representing The Cane Institute at FAU Lab Schools at the Palm Beach County Science & Engineering Fair brought home more than 60 awards after an incredible showing at the competition. We congratulate the students, our science fair team: Mr. Allan Phipps, Ms. Vanessa Stevenson, Ms. Katherine Hendrickson, Ms. Robin Barkes, and Dr. Tricia Meredith, our science and STEAM teachers, and our supportive parents who ensure their children persist and get their projects across the finish line. It is an incredible commitment and team effort.
Congratulations to all the winners! On top of the recognitions below, two notable finishes are Anik Sahai winning "Best in Show" for the Junior Division and 12 of our students qualified to advance to the Florida State Science and Engineering Fair on April 4-7, 2023.

A.D. Henderson middle school students won a record-breaking 25 awards, and all 20 middle school competitors won an award in the regional fair, which is a school first! Thirty-five (35) awards were presented in the Senior Division to FAU High students.
