Palm Beach Regional Science and Engineering Fair Award Winners Announced

The Palm Beach Regional Science and Engineering Fair announced all award winners on Wednesday, January 24. Of the 18 A.D. Henderson University School students competing, they all received placement awards! Five middle school students won their categories, automatically advancing them to the state science fair competition in April.
The winning project was a team project completed by Paxton Cava and Ben Slive, titled “Aerial Access: Building a Drone Prototype for Seed Dispersal over Inaccessible Terrain.”
A.D. Henderson University School took home Best in Show in the middle school division. Best in Show is the most prestigious Palm Beach Regional Science & Engineering Fair award, and this year marks the third year in a row that A.D. Henderson has won the distinction!
All 19 FAU High School scientists also received placement awards. Seven students earned first or second place in their categories, automatically advancing them to the state science fair competition in April.
