Free & Reduced Lunch Eligibility Guidelines

Dear Parents and Students,

Beginning on September 18, 2012, we will have a new meal service program in our cafeteria. Please take a look at the new menu and note that pizza is not always being served on Fridays, as in the past.

A reminder to parents, please make sure your child has money on their account if they are not paying with cash every day. On our website, you can go to “Pay Fees Online”, select “Lunch Payments” and choose the option best for you. If you would like to just add a little money to their account now and then, choose “Lunch/Breakfast Fees (Other)” and enter the amount you wish to put in. It's fast and easy. To do this, please visit the payment website. If you have any questions regarding your child's account, please email Denise Platt at dplatt1@fau.edu.

BREAKFAST AND LUNCH OPTIONS Grades K-12
Option #1: Per Semester Buy breakfast and/or lunch Monday thru Friday. This is a prepaid, paid in full option. First payment is due July 1, 2012. Second payment is due December1, 2012. Breakfast: $160.00 per semester. Lunch: $270.00 per semester. Students approved for reduced meals: Breakfast: $27.00 per semester. Lunch: $36.00 per semester. No charge for students approved for free meals.
Option #2: Meal Account Set up a meal account to buy breakfast and/or lunch any day with an initial deposit. You may add to it at any time. Breakfast: $1.75 per day. Lunch: $3.00 per day. Students approved for reduced meals: Breakfast: .30 cents per day. Lunch: .40 cents per day. No charge for students approved for free meals.
Option #3: Occasional Students who would like to purchase breakfast and/or lunch occasionally may do so by bringing cash that day. Breakfast costs $1.75 per day. Lunch costs $3.00 per day.
